Spare UPS and Battery Packs are Comprised of a Set of Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery Components That are Configured Into a Unique Low Resistance Battery Cell and the Associated Power Management Circuits.
Each battery module is equipped with front panel LEDs to provide battery status to include Power On, Charging, and Discharge states. The battery module includes a battery disconnect protection circuit that removes the battery from all circuit connections when not in use. This circuit disconnect removes all discharge paths to allow the battery to maintain
its charge for storage and protects the battery module from slow micro volt discharging which can damage the battery chemistry.

The PowergridM Battery Modules are Self Contained Units That Include the Lithium Iron Phosphate (LIP) Battery Packs, Charge Management Circuits, and Battery Protection Devices. Military Battery Backup system – Mobile Shelter UPS – Mobile Shelter Uninterruptible Power Supply
Each LIP battery pack is individually fused to ensure against effects of potential short circuits and are constructed in our proprietary Cold PakTM low resistance design exhibiting less than 10o rise over ambient air temperature on full discharge. Each battery module includes a special loop back protection connection hosted in the battery module mating connector to ensure that the batteries are electrically isolated when removed from the host UPS system.
This loop back protection circuit ensures that when the battery pack is removed from the system or dislodged from its UPS matting connection, there is no electrical path available for trickle discharging allowing the battery modules to survive for a significant amounts of time during shelf storage.
